Mahjong League - Fall 2026

Join us for five weeks of friendly American Mahjong competition, weekly prizes, and community fun! Our Mini Mahjong League welcomes players from beginner to advanced levels. Players should have a basic understanding of American Mahjong, as beginner instruction is not included.

League Details

• Dates: September 28–October 29, 2026

• Match Days: Mondays and Thursdays

• Match Times: Every 90 minutes beginning at 10:00 AM

• League Fee: $125 per player

• Format: Four games per 90-minute match

• Availability: Two to three tables per match time, depending on registration

Players may initially reserve up to two matches per week. Additional matches may be available if space permits. Only each player’s highest match score of the week will count toward the overall league rankings. Weekly scores and standings will be tracked and shared with participants.

Prizes

Weekly prizes will be awarded throughout the league. The overall league winner will receive a grand prize consisting of either a Mahjong tile set or a Modern Pine Studio general merchandise gift certificate. Additional prizes may also be awarded during the Grand Finale.

What to Bring

Nothing but your current National Mah Jongg League card! All tables will be ready with tiles, racks, mats, and playing supplies.

Important Information

League play follows the current National Mahjong League card and standard American Mahjong rules. Four players are required for each match.

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled match. If you cannot attend, you are responsible for finding a substitute. Substitutes do not need to be registered league players. No-shows may result in points being awarded to the other scheduled participants.

Complete scoring, substitution, cancellation, and league rules will be provided to registered players.
